New Delhi : Covid-19 recovery rate (RR) climbed to 97.19 % in India at 8 am on February 6, 2021, as 14,488 patients recovered / discharged in last 24 hours taking the tally to 1,05,10,796 in the country exceeding the number of active cases ( 1,48,590) by a huge margin of 1,03,62,206. On the other hand, 11,713 new Covid-19 cases were recorded in India in last 24 hours taking the tally to 1,08,14,304 cases in the country.
The active cases accounted for just 1,37% of the total Covid-19 cases (1,08,14,304) recorded so far in India on February 6, 2021, a drop of 2,870 cases in last 24 hours. India has tested 20,06,72,589 samples so far including 7,40,794 samples on February 5, 2021. Meanwhile, 54,16,849 Corona Warriors have been vaccinated so far against in India against Covid-19 including 4,57,404 beneficiaries on February 5, 2021, according to Union Health Ministry figure.
The Covid-19 toll increased to 1,54,918 in India on February 6, 2021, with 95 new deaths being recorded in the country in last 24 hours including 40 in Maharashtra, 19 in Kerala, 8 in Chhattisgarh, 4 in Tamilnadu, 3 in Uttarakhand, 3 in Karnataka, 2 in Uttar Pradesh, 2 in West Bengal, 2 in Delhi, 1 in Madhya Pradesh, and 1 in Haryana. India had recorded 120 new deaths on February 5, 2021.
