New Delhi : An Indian Air Force Jaguar Fighter Aircraft crashed near Gorakhpur on January 28, 2019, at 1240 hrs. The aircraft was on a routine mission and was airborne from Gorakhpur at 1211 hrs. The aircraft crashed at an approximate distance of 46 km east of Gorakhpur. Pilot ejected safely. A Court of Inquiry has been ordered to investigate the cause of the accident, according to a PIB release.
