New Delhi : A Microlight aircraft of the Indian Air Force (IAF) was airborne from Air Force Station Hindan for a routine bird reconnaissance sortie on October 5, 2018, at 8.36 am. The aircraft met with an accident at 9.02 hrs approximately 24 Nautical Miles from Hindan Air Base. Both the pilots are safe. A Court of Inquiry has been ordered by the IAF to ascertain the cause of the accident, according to a PIB release.
