Bokaro ( Jharkhand) : Country Head ( Operations) of Association of Charted Certified Accountants (ACCA), India, Krishan Mishra, addressed the students of DPS Bokaro at a Guest Speaker Programme on December 5, 2019. He spoke on various career options in the field of commerce and other associated career avenues which will help students earn fame and success.
Founded in 1904, ACCA is a global professional accounting body with presence in more than 180 countries offering the Charted Certified Accountants qualification.
The Guest speaker highlighted that now-a-days more students opt for commerce stream which is turning into a popular subject among the developing and the developed countries. He added that ACCA provides diploma courses that can be taken up simultaneously with the commerce syllabus of senior secondary. The diploma earned will be an added qualification to their resume and will help in their career enhancement.
It was indeed an interesting and interactive session wherein the students were able to explore the multifarious dimensions of pursuing a career in commerce.
Principal, DPS Bokaro, A S Gangwar said that such programmes help students to understand and identify the various career options available. He added that the school always focuses on providing maximum exposure to the students so that they emerge as global leaders.
