New Delhi : Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) death toll jumped to 10,885 in USA including 1,286 new deaths on April 8, 2020. The number of Coronavirus confirmed cases surged to 3,63,321 in USA including 29,510 new cases on April 8, according to WHO Situation Report -79.
Coronavirus death toll in Italy, which had reported 1,35,586 confirmed cases on April 8 including 3,039 new cases, has reached 17,129 including 604 new deaths.
Spain had reported 1,40,510 confirmed cases including 5,478 new cases till April 8, 2020, and the death toll due to the disease has surged to 13,798 including 743 new deaths.
The death toll in France, which has reported 77,226 confirmed cases including 3,738 new cases, soared to 10,313 including 1,417 new deaths on April 8, 2020. The COVID-19 death toll in Germany has reached 1,861 including 254 new deaths.
Coronavirus death toll in UK, which accounts for 55,246 confirmed cases including 3,634 new cases, climbed to 6,159 on April 8 including 786 new deaths. Belgium has reported 22,194 confirmed cases while the death toll due to the disease reached 2,035 in the country on April 8 including 403 new deaths. Coronavirus death toll in Netherlands reached 2,101 on April 8 including 234 new deaths.
China had reported 83,157 COVID-19 confirmed cases including 86 new cases till April 8 while the death toll due to the disease in the country is 3,342 including 2 new deaths. Coronavirus death toll in Iran climbed to 3,872 including 133 new deaths on April 8.
Meanwhile, the number of Coronavirus confirmed cases increased 13,53,361 including 73,639 new cases on April 8 while the death toll increased to 79,235 including 6,695 new deaths.
