Patna : SHO, Manjha police station in Gopalganj district, Manish Kumar, on November 19, 2018, evening, sustained minor injuries while an ASI Anil Kumar Singh sustained serious head injuries when some villagers attacked a police team that reached the village Koinee to resolve a land dispute there.
A land dispute was going on between Jabbar Mian and Arman Ahmad at village Koinee. A Manjha police team led by SHO Manish Kumar reached Koinee and tried to pacify the rival factions. When the police personnel were trying to pacify the people, one of the groups attacked them causing serious head injuries to an ASI and minor injury to the SHO. Three others also sustained injuries in the attack. All the injured persons including police officers were given treatment at a local hospital.
