Patna: Expelled former vice -president of Uttar Pradesh unit of BJP Dayashankar Singh was seen at Baba Baidyanath temple at Deoghar and Bashukinath temple in Dumka, both in Jharkhand, on July 23 evening. A Lucknow court has issued warrant of arrest against Dayashankar following complaints by supporters of BSP supremeo Mayawati for using abusive language against her.
Superintendent of Deoghar police V Vijayalakshmi told mediapersons at Deoghar on Wednesday  morning she had no information about Dayashankar’s visit to the temple.”Thosands of kanwariyas are coming daily to the temple. We have no information from UP police either about his visit,” she said. Forme Bihar CM Rabri Devi,however, alleged since Jharkhand is ruled by BJP government Dayashankar was moving freely there.

Dayashankar performed puja at the historic Baidyanath temple during Sharwan month under the guidance of his family priest Sunil Mishra who accompanied him to Dumka, 135 from Deoghar. Some BJP leaders from Jharkhand were also with Dayashankar, who originally belongs to Buxar on Bihar-UP border. Dayashankar told mediapersons at Deoghar he visits Baidyanathdham every year.
