Ara : Unidentified bike borne miscreants shot at and injured a contractor Anil Rai, 40, at Chhotaki Sasaram under Gajrajganj police station (PS) in Bhojpur District in South Bihar on January 10, 2022, evening. An injured Anil Rai was admitted to Sadar Hospita, Ara. Anil Rai, son of Suraj Rai, is engaged in loading and unloading of green vegetables.
An FIR has been lodged with Gajrajganj PS in this connection. Police are investigating the matter and also conducting raids to arrest the miscreants.
Neelam Devi, wife of the injured Anil Rai, said that he had gone to Bihia Chaurasta under Bihia PS in Bhojpur District on January 10, 2022, morning, for uploading vegetables. After finishing his work there,, he was returning home on his motorcycle when three bike borne motorcycle borne unidentified miscreants intercepted him at Chhotaki Sasaram and tried to snatch cash from him. When he protested,, the miscreants shot at and injured him and escaped.
