Munger: Resentment prevails among contractual teachers appointed in Primary, Middle and Secondary schools due to for non- payment of their salaries for the last four months. Primary Teachers Association leader Nawal Kishore Singh has threatened to launch agitation if the payment was not made within a week. He said that with prices of essential commodities rising, it has become very difficult for the contractual teachers to meet their expenses  due to no-payment of their salaries. He said the shopkeepers were threatening them to stop supply of food items including flour, rice, pulses etc on credit. The education department officials aid that allotment of funds for their salaries was yet to come.
