BJP, LJP support RJD agitation for establishment of university in Munger

Munger:  The BJP and Lok Jan Shakti Party(LJP) have come into the open to support the agitation launched by the Munger district of RJD against the government for not implementing the long pending  assurances made by CM Nitish Kumar and other ministers of the government for establishment of a university in Munger.

The BJP and the LJP will support the cause through their own platforms, said Ramanand Prasad Singh of BJP and Suresh Tanti, an ,advocate of the LJP. They maintained that they are supporting the agitation as it was amon cause and  concerned the career of lakhs of students of the district. Both the BJP and LJP convened separate meetings on Saturday and called  upon the people to support the agitation till a university was established in Munger.

Tanti, president, district unit of LJP, Munger, said that a university campus was opened in Begusarai ignoring the claim of Munger, a divisional headquarters. Munger will not tolerate this injustice,Tanti asserted. A memorandum, addressed to the chief ministe, has been submitted to the divisional commissioner by the RJD demanding opening of a university and medical, engineering, agriculture colleges in Munger.
