Constable kills wife, shoots himself dead by his AK 47 Rifle in Sitamarhi

Sitamarhi : Chandra Bhushan Kumar, 27, a constable posted at Town Police station, Sitamarhi, in a sensational incident, shot dead his wife Madhu Kumari, 25, by pumping bullets into her body from his AK 47 Rifle and thereafter committed suicide by shooting himself  dead using the same weapon in the wee hours on January 19, 2020, at his house. The couple was residing at a rented house at village Simra near policeline in Sitamarhi District.

On hearing bullet shots, the local villagers informed police. They broke open the doors and found the couple in a pool of blood  dead. Chandra Bhushan was in QRT team and had got married just six months ago. They were permanent residents of Saharsa district in North Bihar.
Sitamarhi SP Anil Kumar visited the site and an FSL team was summoned from Patna for thorough investigation into the incident. The bodies have been sent for autopsy.
