Ara : In an incident of pleasure firing at a birthday party, a college girl sustained bullet injury at Shaligram Singh Ke Tola under Barhara police station(PS) in Bhojpur District in South Bihar around midnight on March 4, 2021. The injured was admitted to Ara Sadar Hospital but the doctor there referred her to Patna Medical College and Hospital (PMCH) in view of her serious condition.
The injured was identified as a BA Part I student Uma Bharati, 21, daughter of Dhan Ji Yadav of Shaligram Singh Ke Tola. SHO, Barhara PS, said that a party was organised at the house of Radheshyam Yadav at Shaligram Singh Ke Tola in the late evening on March 4, 2021, late evening, to mark the birthday of his 2 year old grand-daughter. Disc Jockey (DJ) was being played and people were dancing. Meanwhile, someone fired and the bullet hit Uma Bharti injuring her. Police rushed to the spot and started investigating the matter. Dr T N Raj said at Ara Sadar Hospital that the girl received bullet at two places in her leg. She is serious but her condition is under control.
