CM unlikely to visit Bhitiharwa Ashram on Sept 27

Bagaha : CM Nitish Kumar’s visit to Bhitiharwa Ashram under Gaunaha block in West Champaran district on September 27 to mark the conclusion of “Nasha Multi Yatra” has been cancelled reportedly due to Tharu welfare federation’s agitation programme .

The Tharu federation president Deepnarain Prasad said that the federation was agitating to press its four point demand including making public the Naurangia police firing one man judicial inquiry commission report, which was submitted to the chief minister in July this year. The programme will now be attended by Food and Consumer Protection minister Madan Sahni, Manjubala Verma, Minister for social welfare, besides state JD(U)  president Bashistha Narain Singh. Post
