Class V girl raped at Bhojpur village

Ara : A  minor girl was raped at village Maniachh under Pawana police station on February 23, 2018. Police brought her to Ara Sadar Hospital for medical examination. An FIR has been lodged with Woman police station, Ara, but no arrest has so far been made in this connection.

The victim is a student of Class V at Maniachh Middle School. On February 23, she had gone to attend call of nature in the open when a student of calss VIII of the same school, Appu Kumar, 16, son of Raj Kumar Sah of village Pawana under Pawana police station forcibly took her to a secluded place and outraged her modesty. When she fell unconscious and started bleeding, the boy escaped from the scene. Police brought her to Ara Sadar Hospital for treatment. She was bleeding profusely and was admitted to the hospital. Police said that she would be produced before the court to get her statement recorded under section 164 CrPC soon.
