Chanchal to hold add. charge of Home Deptt during Subhani’s absence

Patna : Principal Secretary, Home, Bihar Government, Amir Subhani, will attend the mandatory Mid-Service Training, phase 4, at Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration (LBSNAA), Mussoorie, from September 25, 2017, to October 13, 2017. The state government had allowed Subhani, an IAS officer of 1987 batch, to attend the mandatory training programme on September 4, 2017.

Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister, CM Secretariat, Chanchal Kumar, an IAS officer of 1992 batch, was on September 18, 2017, given additional charge of Principal Secretary, Home, as well as Principal Secretary, General Administration Department, for the period Subhani will be away at Mussoorie.

K K Pathak, a 1990 batch IAS officer and Principal Secretary, Mines and Geology Department, has been given additional charge of Principal Secretary, Prohibition, Excise and Registration Department, in the absence of Subhani. Atish Chandra, a 1994 batch IAS officer and Secretary to Chief Minister, CM Secretariat, has been given additional charge of Secretary, Public Griences, General Administration Department, and Mission Director,  Bihar Administrative Reforms Mission Society. Prem Singh Meena, an IAS officer of 2000 batch and Secretary, SC/ST Welfare Department, has been given additional charge of Minority Welfare Department. The General Administration Department issued a notification to this effect on September 18.
