Munger: CCTV cameras will be installed at all the government railway police stations and railway stations under the jurisdiction of Railway police, Jamalpur, shortly. Rail police superintendent, Jamalpur, Swapna G Meshram said here on Saturday that all the GRPs starting from Sahebganj railway station on Bhagalpur-Sahebganj section , Bhgalpur-Kiul section and Kiul – Jhajha section of the ECR will have CCTV cameras to keep a tab on anti- social elements.
She said that all the stattion platforms inside and outside will also be fitted with CCTV cameras with the help and co-operation of voluntary organisations. Jamalpur will have 16, Bhagalpur 18, Kiul 16 and Jhajha 12 CCTV cameras.Barahiya, Jamui, Sheikhpura and Nawada railway stations will have also one such camera each, she said.
