CCTV cameras installed in 3 Central Govt Hospitals in Delhi

New Delhi : The CCTV cameras have been installed at three Central Government Hospitals in Delhi. They are Safdarjung Hospital (SJH), Dr RML Hospital (RML) and Lady Hardinge Medical College (LHMC) and associated hospitals.

At Safdargunj Hospital, 156 CCTV cameras have been installed and all are functional. At RML Hospital, 121 CCTV cameras have been installed and all working satisfactorily except for one. At LHMC, 174 CCTV cameras are installed of which 1247 are functional while 27 are non-functional.

Repair and maintenance of hospital infrastructure and equipment are a continuous process and are done as and when the need arises. The Minister of State (Health and Family Welfare), Ashwini Kumar Choubey, stated this in a written reply in the Lok Sabha here on March 9, 2018.
