Darbhanga:  Bhopal branch of CBI, which has been investigating into the VYAPM scam of Madhya Pradesh, has sent a list of 38  medical students to the principal of Darbhanga medical college (DMC) requesting him to verify from the college record as to how many of them had been the students of his college between 2008 to 20015, because they are under its scanner.

Confirming this, DMC principal Dr R K Sinha said that the letter from the CBI was received by the college on Wednesday and he had deputed a teacher of the college to verify their status from the admission record of the college for the aforesaid spread taking the help of the office of the college. The entire record has to be verified and it would take three to four days and then accordingly Bhopal office of the CBI would be informed.  Details of the students — their names, father’s name, residential addresses– have been provided by the investigating agency. The CBI has also sent a list of some students to principal of Patna medial college for verification
