Buxar : Buxar SP Upendra Nath Verma on August 8, 2020, suspended two police personnel with immediate effect for dereliction of duty. The SP said that he had deputed Hawaldar Munir Khan and Constables Santosh Kumar Ram and Bajrangi Ram to Mathia Mor on August 5, 2020, from 2pm to 8pm.
But, ASI Rangnath Rai informed the SHO Buxar town police station Ranjeet Kumar that only Munir Khan was on duty at Mathia Mor and both the constables were absent, the SP said. The SHO informed the Buxar SP about it. The SP immediately got the matter investigated and suspended both the police constables with immediate effect when the allegation against them was found correct.
