Buxar: Buxar SP Upendra Sharma on Saturday suspended the then SHO Rajpur Police Station in Buxar district Jai Prakash Singh and an ASI of the same police station Shiv Kumar Singh with immediate effect for not submitting chargesheet within 90 days in a case which helped accused Guddu in getting bail.
The court of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Bxuar, granted bail to notorious criminal Guddu on July 4, 2016. He was a terror in Bihar and Utter Pradesh and was arrested from Kolkata in March this year in connection with the murder of Shiv Sena leader Agnidev Rai in Buxar. He was lodged in Gazipur jail in UP. After publication of news regarding Guddu’s bail, the SP took the action and also inquiring why the police officials did not submit chargesheet against Guddu within 90 days. The SP said that stern action might be taken against the guilty officials after inquiry.
Meanwhile, Buxar SP Upendra Sharma recommended for suspension of Inspector Ramashish Mishra to the Inspector General. Ramashish Mishra was arrested by a vigilance investigation bureau team on June 29, 2016, while taking bribe at his office.
