Buxar DM withholds salary of several doctors

Buxar: Buxar DM Raman Kumar on November 22 withheld salary of 27 officials including doctors of Buxar Sadar Hospital and directed Civil Surgeon Dr B K Singh to seek show cause from the persons concerned and submit report to him with his comments. The DM was holding meeting with the CS and the officials of the Buxar Sadar Hospital for improving the health service in the district.

The DM withheld salaries of District Malaria Officer, District Immunization Officer and District Infectious Diseases Officer for not inspecting the Primary Health Centres, besides Dr K N Gupta, Dr S D Ram, Dr Abhishek Kumar, Dr Dev Prakash Vishwakarma, Dr Sudhir Kumar, Dr Ashutosh Kumar, Dr Rashmi Singh, Dr Bharati Dwiwedi and Dr Nagendra Bhushan Singh for their poor performance in the out patient department ( OPD). The DM also withheld salary of the DCM Santosh Kumar for keeping payment of  Asha workers pending. The salary of Dr D N Pandey was also withheld for not performing any operation in October, 2016.
