Busta upsets top seed Goffin in ATP Moselle Open

Patna : World No 62 Pablo Carreno Busta, 28, Spain, upset top seed and World No 14 David Goffin, 28, Belgium, in the second round of ATP Moselle Open at Metz, France, to enter the quarter-finals of the tournament on September 19, 2019. Busta beat Goffin  6-3, 6-2 in 71 minutes to advance to the QFs.

Busta won 4 break points to 1 by Goffin. Busta also won 4 games in a row in the match to 2 by Goffin. The Spaniard won 22 receiving points to 15 by Goffin. Goffin served 3 Aces to 1 by Busta. The Spaniard won 36 service points to 25 by Goffin. Busta will face World No 76 Aljaz Bedene, 30, Slovenia,  in the QFs on September 20, 2019.

World No 49 Filip Krajinovic, 27, Serbia, beat World No 35 Fernando Verdasco, 35, Spain, 3-6, 6-4, 6-3 in 2nd round to advance to the QFs. Krajinovic will face World No 26 Lucas Pouille, 25, France, in the QFs on September 20.
