Patna :  Pablo Carreno Busta, 29, Spain, the 17th seed,  beat qualifier Daniel Altmaier, 22, Germany, in straight sets in 4th round at French Open, a Grand Slam tennis tournament, on October 6, 2020, to set up a quarter-finals match against top seed and World No 1 Novak Djokovic, 33, Serbia, on October 7, 2020.

Busta beat Altmaier 6-2, 7-6, 6-2 on Philippe-Chatrier court, Roland Garros, Paris, France, in 4th round. The Spainiard, who had reached US Open SFs this year, won 6 break points in the match to 1 by Altmaier. Busta won 9 games in a row in the match to 3 by the German. The Spainiard, in all, won 111 points to 94 by Altmaier, who committed 4 double faults.

The German, who had stunned 7th seed Matteo Berrettini, Italy, in 3rd round,  fired 5 Aces to 4 by Busta, who had defeated 10th seed Roberto Bautista Agut, Spain, in 3rd round.
