Ara : Six motorcycle borne criminals shot dead a businessman Krishna Kumar Singh alias Kumar Ji, 32, in Padav locality near Model Institute under Town Police Station, Ara, in broad daylight on July 2, 2017. Later, police brought the body to Ara Sadar Hospital for post-mortem.
SHO, Town Police Station, J P Singh, said that Krishna Kumar Singh alias Kumar Ji, son of businessman late Ram Khelawan Singh, was going to his residence in Padav locality near Model Institute under Town Police Station in the afternoon on July 2 when six unidentified motorcycle borne armed criminals waylaid him and pumped several bullets into his body killing him on the spot.
The miscreants also fired at least 25 rounds in the air triggering panic in the area. After killing Krishna Kumar Singh, the assailants sped away. After the incident, all the shops of the areas closed and the area wore a deserted look.
