Ara : Under the banner of All India Brahman Mahasabha (AIBM), dozens of its members burnt the effigies of PM Narendra Modi and UP Chief Minister Adityanath Yogi near Chandawa Mor in Bhojpur district on July 2, 2017, to protest burning of five Brahmans alive in Raebareli in UP recently.
Sunil Pathak, Bhojpur district youth wing president of AIBM, strongly condemned the burning of five Brahmans alive and said that neither the PM nor the UP CM had commented on the matter so far. He demanded Rs 25 lakh compensation to each affected family. He also demanded sacking of UP Minister Swami Prasad Maurya, and stern action against him and his associate Raja Yadav in this connection.
