Muzaffarpur : Bihar State Pollution Control Board (BSPCB) has asked Muzaffarpur DM to close three slaughter houses running illegally in the district. Muzaffarpur DM Dharmendra Singh has received a directive to this effect from Secretary, BSPCB, Alok Kumar.
The BSPCG has directed the Muzaffarpur DM to close slaughter houses running illegally at Brahmpura and Maripur besides reminding him that Sadpur slaughter was still running even as Patna High Court had asked the district administration to close it. The Muzaffarpur DM said that he would take appropriate action looking into both the directives.
