Patna: Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) will shortly start the process of recruitment of 3,500 college teachers. Patna High Court has asked the state government to  resume the procedure of appointment of teachers in different universities .
Commission sources said the interviews for recruitment of lecturers, which was suspended following a decision of the state government, would be resumed shortly.  Applications were already invited last year and teachers in many subjects were given appointment letters after their successful interviews by the commission.
RJD president Lalu Prasad had recently called BPSC an useless  body and suggested revival of the College Service Commission for recruitment of teachers.During his tenure as the CM, Lalu had formed College Service Commission which was disbanded when Nitish became CM .
