Boy crushed to death by speeding truck in Muzaffarpur

Muzaffarpur : A ten year old boy Suraj Kumar, only son Kishori Ram, was crushed to death by a speeding truck near Harnahi Laxminia bridge on Motipur –  Sahebganj road under Baruraj police station in Muzaffarpur district at 4 pm on March 29. The boy had gone to a doctor at Motipur with his mother for treatment and they returned by an auto at 4 pm. His mother was paying auto fare near Harnahi Laxminia bridge when suddenly a truck coming from Sahebganj side crushed Suraj to death.

The villagers strongly protested the incident and blocked the Motipur – Sahebganj road for several hours placing the body on the road. Police and local officials reached the spot and pacified the people. Police also arrested the truck driver, who was escaping with the truck after the accident, near Mahmadpur railway crossing. The truck was coming from Indore.
