Buxar : A powerful bomb exploded on the railway track near Buxar under Danapur division of East Central Railway (ECR), Hajipur, on February 6 afternoon though no casualty was reported. Someone threw a powerful bomb after the down Varanasi-Sealdah Express passed between Jaso and Nadaw railway stations in Buxar district that exploded with deafening sound and created panic in the area. However, neither any casualty nor damage to the rail track was reported. SHO, Government Railway Police (GRP), Buxar, could not be contacted for further information. Senior officials of railway rushed to the spot after the explosion.
