Bagaa: Body of Shiwangi Kumari, 16, daughter of Shyam Narain Mahto of village Majuraha under Gobarahiya police station in West Champaran district, was found hanging from a tree with her neck tied to a Dupatta on October 20 night.
Gobarahiya police station SHO Dhananjay Rai said that the girl was a student of tenth class and had gone to attend tuition class at Gobarahiya on October 20. When she did not return till evening, her parents informed the police station. Police swung into action and found body of the girl hanging from a tree near village Gobarahiya and brought it to Bagaha for autopsy. A case was lodged with Gobarahiya police station in this connection, SHO Rai said.
Theft: Theft was committed at Sai Mmobile Centre located near residence of SDM and SDPO, Bagaha on October 20 night by an organised gang of thieves, who took away mobiles and Rs 1 lakh cash. They entered the shop from rear side, said proprietor of the shop Santosh Kumar. A case has been lodged with Pathakauli police station. SHO Suresh Mukhiya said police were investigating the case.
