Patna: Body of a businessman Shyam Kishore Singh (48) was found in his four-wheeler that was parked close to Childrens’ Park under S K Puri police station, Patna, on Thursday.

Singh’s vehicle was lying near the Childrens’ Park since Thursday morning. At around 2 pm, someone saw Singh lying in the vehicle without any movement and informed the Police Control Room (number-100), which later informed the local police station about the incident.

When a team of S K Puri police station reached the spot, they found one of the gates of the vehicle open. The cops found Singh lying on the rear seat of the four-wheeler. Police recovered a cellphone besides the key of the four-wheeler from Singh’s pocket.

S K Puri police station SHO Sanjay Verma said that there was no sign of injury on his body and it seems that he was sleeping inside his vehicle. He said that prima facie it seems to be a suspected case of poisoning. A team of Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) reached the spot and collected evidences from there, the SHO said adding that the body had been sent to Patna Medical College and Hospital (PMCH) for autopsy.

The SHO said that with the help of the cellphone recovered from Singh’s possession, he informed the family members including the deceased’s wife about the tragic incident. He said that the deceased’s wife told the police that Singh never kept a driver to drive his vehicle. The SHO said that Singh resides in flat number-401 in Jawahar Apartment in Patliputra Colony. He said that the deceased’s parents stay in the state capital.The SHO said that Singh earlier owned a factory of gutkha in Patliputra Industrial Area.
