Bhabhua : BJP MLA from Bhabhua in Kaimur district Anand Bhushan Pandey, 39, died at Sir Gangaram Hospital in New Delhi on November 30, 2017, after a prolonged illness. He was suffering from nephrological problem for quite long time and was admitted to Sir Ganga Ram Hospital in New Delhi.

Anand Bhushan Pandey was a resident of village Bhagwanpur in Kaimur district and had successfully contested election on the BJP ticket from Bhabhua for the first time in 2015 Bihar Assembly polls.

The news of his sudden demise shocked members of Bihar Legislative Assembly and Bihar Legislative Council and among the party workers and his supporters. Speaker, Bihar Legislative Assembly, Vijay Kumar Chaudhary, expressed his profound shock grief over the death of Anand Bhushan Pandey. After mourning Pandey, both the Houses were adjourned for the day on November 30. Bihar CM Nitish Kumar said that Anand Bhushan Pandey’s  death was an irreparable loss to his party as well as the society and the State.
