BJP leader surrenders in Ara trader murder case

Ara : With police attaching the property of senior HAM(S) leader Danish Rizwan on July 25, 2017, former district president, Vanijya Manch, BJP, Indrabhan Singh, surrendered before an Ara court on July 26,  2017, 24 days after the murder of  businessman Krishna Kumar Singh alias Kumar Ji. With his surrender, four named accused have been surrendered, while six named accused are still at large.

Some armed persons had shot dead a businessman Krishan Kumar Singh alias Kumar Ji, son of a businessman late Ram Khelawan Singh, on July 2, 2017, around 11 am in Padav locality near Model Institute under Town police station, Ara, when he was on way to his house.

A named FIR was lodged with Town police station against 10 persons including Danish Rizwan,  Munnu Singh, son of Malti Devi, Deputy Mayor, Ara Municipal Corporation, Indrabhan Singh, former district president, Vanijya Manch, BJP, Chand Mian, a notorious criminal, and his brother Nayeem Mian. Police had also arrested seven unnamed accused in the case including the sister of Chand Mian.

After the warrant of arrest was issued against the named accused, Chand Mia and Danish Rijwan’s two brothers: Md Saheed and Zamal Asaraf, surrendered and were forwarded to jail.
