Bike borne criminals shot at, injured 2 youth at Ara

Ara : Six motorcycle borne unidentified criminals shot at and injured two youth in Shivganj locality under Ara Town police station on August 7, 218, late evening, and escaped. The locals admitted the injured to Sadar Hospital, Ara, but the doctors referred them to Patna Medical College and Hospital (PMCH) in view of their serious condition. Personal enmity is said to be the reason behind the incident.

SHO, Ara Town police station, J P Singh said that Dhanu Singh, son of Sukhdeo Singh, and Toni Prasad, son of Shiv Shankar Prasad of Sheetal Tola locality, were taking tea at a tea-stall near Sapana Cinema Mor, Shivganj locality under Ara Town police station, on August 7 late evening  when six armed miscreants on two motorcycles shot at them. An FIR was lodged with Ara Town police station in this connection. Police conducted raids at different places and took three persons under custody for interrogation besides seizing few firearms from their possession.
