Bike borne criminals loot Rs 18 lakh from cash van in Muzaffarpur

Muzaffarpur : Two bike borne criminals shot dead guard of a cash van at Keshav Chowk under Sahebgaj block in Muzaffarpur district in North Bihar and looted Rs 18 lakh cash on August 9, 2018, and escaped unchallenged firing in the air.

The deceased was identified as Sunil Thakur, 50. Sources said that the criminals were following the van and when it reached Keshav Chowk they intercepted it. They shot dead Thakur as he resisted them.

Just a few days back, armed criminals had looted Rs 3.6 lakh cash from a bank branch under Kurhi block in the district.
