Motihari :  Two unidentified bike borne criminals intercepted a farmer Triloki Nat Kushwaha near Kalyanpur on Kalyanpur-
Semara road under Kalyanpur police station  in East Champaran district and looted Rs  1 lakh cash from him at gun point in broad daylight on June 25, 2019.  Kushawaha, a resident of village Semara, was returning home on his motorcycle after
drawing Rs 1 lakh  from Kalyanpur Branch of State Bank of India.

According to the locals, two young boys who were witness to the this incident,  chased the criminals and caught them near Kesariya and handed them over to police after informing them. Ravi Ranjan, SHO, Kalyanpur  police station, said that the two criminals were  arrested and their motorcycle was seized. But, police are yet to recover the cash looted by the criminals. The arrested persons are being quizzed by police to recover the looted cash.
