New Delhi : Governor of Nagaland, Padmanabha Balkrishna Acharya, was on June 25, 2019, given additional charge of Governor, Manipur, during the absence, on leave, of incumbent Dr Najma A Heptulla.
The President of India has appointed Padmanabha Balkrishna Acharya, Governor of Nagaland, to discharge the functions of the Governor of Manipur, in addition to his own duties, during the absence, on leave, of Dr Najma A. Heptulla, Governor of Manipur, according to a PIB release.
