Patna : Bihar JD(U) president Bashishtha Narain Singh, MP, in an important political development, sacked state Yuva JD(U) and party MP from Purnia Santosh Kushwaha from his post with immediate effect.

The state JD(U) president also dissolved the Yuva JD(U) state executive besides removing all its existing office-bearers, according to state JD(U) General Secretary cum Incharge state headquarters Anil Kumar. Kumar did not give any reason for the sacking of Santosh Kushwaha.

Abhay Kushwaha, JD(U) MLA from Tekari in Gaya district, has been appointed the new state Yuva JD(U) president, said Anil Kumar.
