Patna : Nine more persons tested positive for Covid-19 in Bihar on November 1, 2021,up from 4 cases a day before. The Active cases count in Bihar was 44 on November 2, 2021, though 8 Covid-19 patients recovered in the state in last 24 hours. The Active cases count was 43 in Bihar on November 1. Bihar did not report any new death due to Covid-19 in last 24 hours and the toll remained static at 9,661in the state on November 2.
Bihar has logged 7,26,111 Covid-19 cases so far of which 716,405 patients have recovered including 8 in last 24 hours with the recovery rate (RR) standing at 98.66% on November 2. The state has tested 5,09,32,872 samples so far including 2,27,593 samples on November 1, 2021. The 9 new Covid-19 cases included 4 in Kishanganj, 2 in Patna, and 1 each in Begusarai, Darbhanga, and Nalanda. Meanwhile, the first dose Covid-19 vaccination coverage crossed 5 crore doses in Bihar on November 2, 2021, according to State Health Department figure.
