Patna : Bihar reported 47 new cases of Covid-19 in last 24 hours, up from 26 cases on December 27, 2021. With it the Active cases count jumped to 155 in the state on December 28, 2021, up from 166 a day before. Bihar recorded 1 new death due to Covid-19 in last 24 hours taking the toll to 12,096 in the state including 2,789 in Patna on December 28, 2021.
The state has logged 7,26,529 Covid-19 cases so far of which 7,14,277 patients have recovered including 7 in last 24 hours with the recovery rate (RR) standing at 98.32% on DEcember 28, 2021. Bihar has tested 6,04,14,429 samples so far including 1,73,962 samples on December 27, 2021.
The 47 new Covid-19 cases included 17 in Gaya, 10 in Patna, 4 in Aurangabad, 3 in Munger, 2 in Kishanganj, 2 in Nawada, and 1 each in Bhagalpur, Begusarai, Jehanabad, Madhubani, Purnia, Rohtas, Samastipur, Vaishali, and Sitamarhi.
Meanwhile, Bihar CM Nitish Kumar on December 28, 2021, inaugurated 96th National Conference and 82nd Central Council meeting of IMA at Patna.
