Patna : The Active cases count dropped to 279 in Bihar on March 1, 2022, as only 33 more persons tested positive for Covid-19 in the state on February 28, 2022. A total of 29 persons had tested positive for Covid-19 in the state on February 27, 2022, while the Active cases count was 321.
Bihar did not report any new death due to Covid-19 in last 24 hours and toll remained static at 12,255 in the state on March 1, 2022, according to State Health Department figure.
The 33 new Covid-19 cases included 14 in Patna, and 2 each in Gopalganj, Samastipur, and West Champaran. Th e state tested 1,33,048 samples on February 28, 2022.
Bihar has logged 8,30,124 Covid -19 cases since the outbreak of the pandemic of which 8,17,589 patients have recovered including 76 in last 24 hours with the recovery rate (RR) improving to 98.49% on March 1, 2022.
