Patna : Covid-19 cases in Bihar increased to 2,62,597 on March 2, 2021, afternoon, as 41 more persons including 11 from Nawada, 9 from Patna, 3 each from Bhagalpur and Bhojpur, and 2 each from Darbhanga, Jamui, and Vaishali, tested positive for the pandemic in the state on March 1, 2021.
Of the 2,62,597 Covid-19 cases recorded so far in Bihar, altogether 2,60,687 patients have been declared cured including 42 in last 24 hours with the recovery rate (RR) being 99.27 %. Bihar has tested 2,24,91,500 samples so far including 35,247 samples on March 1, 2021. The number of active cases in Bihar was 368 on march 2, 2021. The Covi-19 toll remained pegged at 1,541 in Bihar on March 2, 2021.
