Patna : Active cases count dropped to 37 in Bihar including 13 in Patna on October 3 as only 3 more persons tested positive for Covid-19 in the state on October 2, 2021. The Active cases count was 43 in the state on October 2. Bihar did not report any new death due to Covid-19 in last 24 hours and the toll remained static at 9.661 in the state on October 3.
The state has recorded 7,25,968 Covid-19 cases so far of which 7,16,269 patients have recovered including 9 in last 24 hours with the recovery rate (RR) remaining pegged at 98.66% on October 3, 2021. Bihar has tested 4,65,89,653 samples so far including 92,182 samples on October 2, 2021. The 3 new Covid-19 cases included 1each in Begusarai, Jehanabad, and Patna. Meanwhile, 30 lakh people were vaccinated against Covid-19 in Bihar on October 2, 2021, according to State Health Department figure.
