Bihar logs 6 Covid cases in last 24 hrs, Active cases drop to 54

Patna : Active cases count dropped to 54 in Bihar including 11 in Patna on September 6, 2021, as only 6 more persons tested for Covid-19 in last 24 hours in the state, down from 8 on September 5, 2021. The Active cases count in Bihar was 64 on September 5. Bihar recorded 1 new death due to Covid-19 in Darbhanga in last 24 hours taking the toll to 9,656 in the state on September 6.

Bihar has logged 7,25,759 Covid-19 cases so far of which 716048 patients have been declared cured including 15 in last 24 hours with the recovery rate (RR) remaining static at 98.66% on September 6, 2021. The state has tested 4,27,28,856 samples so far including 1,30,342 samples on September 5. The 6 new Covid-19 cases included 3 in Samastipur and  each in Patna, Begusarai, and Vaishali.
