Patna : Bihar Government, in a mini administrative reshuffle effected on August 2, 2019, transferred 1992 batch IAS Officer and Principal Secretary, Tourism Department, Ravi Manubhai Parmar, also holding additional charge of Principal Secretary, Art, Culture & Youth Affairs, and appointed him Principal Secretary of Art, Culture & Youth Affairs Department. He will continue to hold additional charge of MD, Bihar State Film Development & Finance Corporation.
Additional Member, Board of Revenue, and 1993 batch IAS officer Uday Singh Kumawat has also been shifted. He has replaced Parmar as the Principal Secretary, Tourism Department.
Robert L Chongthu, a 1997 batch IAS officer and Commissioner, Patna Division, has been transferred too and appointed Commissioner, Saran Division. Chairperson, Bihar School Examination Board, Anand Kishore, a 1996 batch IAS officer, has been given additional charge of Commissioner, Patna Division.
N Sarwan Kumar, an IAS officer of 2000 batch who was waiting for posting, has been appointed Secretary, Agriculture Department, while 2007 batch IAS officer and Labour Commissioner, Labour Resources Department, Gopal Meena, has been appointed Additional Secretary, Minor Irrigation Department.
Sanjay Dubey, a 2008 batch IAS officer who was waiting for posting, has been appointed Additional Secretary, Rural Works Department. He will also hold additional charge of Additional Chief Executive Officer, Bihar Rural Roads Development Agency, Patna.
Shyam Bihari Meena, a 2014 batch IAS officer who was also waiting for posting, has been appointed Deputy Secretary, Disaster Management Department. The General Administration Department issued a notification to this effect on August 2, 2019.
