Muzaffarpur : Union Minister of state for HRD Upendra Kushwaha on February 21 claimed that Bihar government had failed to utilise the fund released by the Centre which had halted the development of the state.Addressing a presser here, Kushwaha also said that the Centre has approved establishment of 175 central universities across the country but work on the establishment of a new central university in Bihar had not started yet as the state government was yet to provide land for the same.

Kushwaha also said that there was acute shortage of teachers in Bihar depriving the students of quality education. Kushwaha, the Rashtriya Lok Samata Party (RLSP) chief, also visited village Bagahi under Riga block in Sitamarhi district to attend Sita Ram Nam Jap Mahayajna. He was accompanied by RLSP MP from Sitamarhi Ramkumar Sharma.
