Patna: Governor-cum-Chancellor Ram Nath Kovind on Thursday started the process for appointment of vice-chancellors (VCs) and ProVCs of nine universities and Pro VCs of two other universities of Bihar by directing the authorities concerned to invite applications from the aspirants.

After the directive of the Chancellor, process for the appointments of VC and Pro VCs of B R Ambedkar Bihar University (BRABU), Muzaffarpur, Kameshwar Singh Darbhanga Sanskrit University, L N Mithila University, Darbhanga, Magadh University, Bodh Gaya, M M H Arabi and Persian University, Patna, Nalanda Open University, Patna, Patna University, Tilka Manjhi Bhagalpur University, and B N Mandal University, Madhepura, has started. The process for the appointments of Pro VCs of VKSU, Ara, and JPU, Chhapra, has also begun. The appointment of VCs of VKSU and JPU is already under process. The aspirants to these posts can apply online till November 5, 2016.
