Bihar Governor to now watch proceedings of state legislature from Raj Bhavan

Patna : Bihar Governor Lalji Tandon can now watch the telecast of the proceedings of Monsoon Session of both Bihar Legislative Assembly and Bihar Legislative Council from his office chamber at Raj Bhavan simultaneously on two separate TVs under a new arrangement. The Monsonn Session of the State Legislature is commencing from June 28, 2019.

The arrangement has been made on the directive of  the Governor, who has ordered for continuance of the new system.  A team of NIC has been deployed at Raj Bhavan for the purpose.  A trial of the new arrangement was made in the presence of the Governor on June 27, 2019. The Governor was so far only listening to the audio broadcast of the proceedings of both the Houses of the State Legislature.
