Bihar Governor Tandon, CM Nitish Kumar congratulate DRDO, scientists

Patna : Bihar Governor Lalji Tandon and CM Nitish Kumar on March 27, 2019, congratulated the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) and its scientists on the success of ‘Mission Shakti’.

Praising the DRDO and its scientists associated with “Mission Shakti”, both Governor Lalji Tandon and CM Nitish Kumar expressed happiness on India becoming the fourth country in the world to join the exclusive club of space super powers after  US, Russia, and China.

“I extend my greetings to them (DRDO and scientists) as the entire nation is proud of their achievements,” CM Nitish Kumar said.

Governor Tandon said that the DRDO scientists had shot down a low earth orbit live satellite at an altitude of 300 km through Anti-Satellite Missile, which is a huge achievement for the country.
