Bokaro ( Jharkhand) : An inception programme was organised at DPS Bokaro (Primary Wing) for the parents of the new entrants (Nursery Class) on March 27, 2019, at Bharat Muni Kala Bhawan here with hundreds of parents participating at it.
This programme, organised by school every year, was meant to provide information to the parents about the rules and regulations of the school besides catering information what is expected from the guardians for the development of their wards.
Addressing the parents of newly admitted Nursery students (2019-20 batch), Dr Hemlata S Mohan, Director & Principal, DPS, Bokaro informed that the main objective of the school is overall development of the students by providing holistic education which plays important role in shaping of every individual. She said it is important for the parents to understand the feelings of their children cautioning the parents not to put pressure on their wards and urged them parents to spend quality time with their wards.
Dr Mohan said that DPS Bokaro has the reputation of being the best school of the country which she said is because of the efforts of dedicated teachers, hard work of the students, and positive contributions from the parents. She remarked that the school promotes the concept of ‘Vasudhaiv Kutumbakam’ and opined that environment protection is an important concern and the school takes special care to make the students aware of it.
P Shailaja Jayakumar, Head Teacher and Vice Principal, DPS, Bokaro Primary Wing, said that the combined efforts of the teachers and the parents help in the overall development of the children. During the programme, Headmistress Sunita Bhardwaj and other teachers were also present.
